The Veteran’s Memorial Park is a quiet place to reflect on those who preserved the freedoms we enjoy. It is named in honor of local philanthropist and public servant Dr. Terry Moehnke, who championed the creation of this memorial space. The park contains artwork and monuments honoring those who served in the military. The concrete pathway leading to Badger Lake is lined with over 350 flowering trees and engraved black granite markers. Overlooking the lake are flags from the military branches and an amphitheater with seating. Open April - October.
